“Hostile Houston Cop comes after two innocent guys video taping at a Wal-Mart in SouthWest Houston for NO REASON, the men were held against their will before later being hand-cuffed to be arrested but released after another cop came to their rescue. The incident was only resolved after the cop tried to bribe and threaten the men to ERASE this footage or go to JAIL…. (This is a REAL police officer of the Kenefick TX Police Department. Apparently he works part-time as a guard for Wal Mart after his shift. This information was CONFIRMED by the other police officer who came to our rescue on the scene and who’s information will remain anonymous for being a better person although they also took the bad cops side when it came to erasing the footage before our release. We made them think we erased it so YOU could see this for yourself. Also what you see in this video is the FIRST contact made with the police officer which was initiated by HIM. Had he ordered we stop video taping Wal Mart or just to plain STOP video taping we would have been happy to comply, but his issue was “Don’t record ME!!” when my friend asked “What? Stop Recording?” the officer replied only with “NOT ME” and both of us confirmed he was not being recorded on purpose and continued with our harmless film which would probably have NEVER even surfaced had he not done what you see here) The police department also denies this as one of their own even while his information is public knowledge. We have yet to hear about him being in anyway punished for his actions so your help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks for watching!”
Brits to pay $3 billion to be spied upon on web, emails, texts
UK taxpayers will have to pay billions of dollars to have their web surfing, email exchange, text messaging, and even Skype calls, monitored. In addition to the hefty price-tag, innocent Brits risk being misidentified as terrorists.
The shocking data comes ahead of the plan announcement in the Queen’s speech, which is scheduled for May. Meanwhile, the Home Office, Britain’s interior ministry, said ministers were preparing to legislate “as soon as parliamentary time allows”.
More than $3 billion over the first decade alone is the extraordinary sum the British taxpayer will have to pay to be legally spied upon, reports the Daily Mail. In addition, annual running costs of roughly $320 million – $610 a minute – to store the data gathered from private communication.
Moreover, the above figures are based on 2009 estimates, which means the actual price, if it were estimated now, would be higher still.
British security agencies are pushing for a law, which would allow police to gain access to who you call, what sites you surf and how you play video games.
The government wants details about text messages, phone calls, email, visited websites, Facebook and Twitter exchanges and even online game chats.
The bill is aimed at finding potential terrorists and criminals in the name of protecting British citizens. However, Brits themselves might need protection from the side-effects caused by the new policy. According to the Information Commissioner’s Office – an independent watchdog upholding information rights in the public interest – once implemented, the bill may lead to innocents being wrongly identified as criminals. Or worse still – terrorists.
According to ICO internal documents uncovered by Tory MP Dominic Raab, this misidentification may lead to regular people being barred from flying along with terrorist suspects and criminals alike.
“Individuals may be wrongly identified, subject to identity fraud or there may just be a mistake. How do they put this right? Intelligence can be used to put people on no-fly lists, limit incomes or asset grabs by government agencies,” the documents read.
Rights activists fear potential abuse of the surveillance, as well as hacker threats to the database storing the personal details collected. It will be a responsibility of providers to store the data for two years. ICO documents cover this sensitive subject too, warning of the potential for abuse by service providers.
These revelations have caused an upheaval among British politicians, with both Tories and Liberal Democrats standing their ground as opponents of the policy, which was first suggested by the Labour government back in 2006. Six years on, MPs are raising their brows at the estimated cost of the project, in the wake of financial hardships that push UK government to make cuts elsewhere.
The plan is said to have been prepared by the Home Office in collaboration with home security service MI5, the foreign intelligence service MI6 and the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), the body responsible for signals intelligence and information assurance for UK’s government and armed forces.
The plan is expected to be announced in May in the Queen’s Speech. It is a rewrite of a similar plan, which was developed by the Labour Party, but had been shelved in November 2009 due to lack of public support. Then in opposition the Conservatives criticized Labour’s “reckless” record on privacy.

You Don’t Have To Be A Criminal Sexual Deviant To Work For The TSA… But It Helps
Steve Watson
Infowars.com
March 29, 2012
The TSA is under intense scrutiny this week following a congressional hearing to examine the agency’s performance. Which is why higher ups will not be pleased to see the headlines thrown up today by a simple online search.
First of all there is the case of TSA manager Bryant Jermaine Livingston, 39, who was arrested by police during his shift at Washington, D.C.’s Dulles airport for his alleged involvement with a prostitution ring.
Prior to his arrest, Livingston was caught in the Silver Spring Crowne Plaza Hotel with three naked women and four other men, after the hotel manager became suspicious and called the police.
While the now former TSA agent claims he was holding a “swingers party”, the other men involved admitted that they had paid Livingston to take part.
Another TSA official also told police that Livingston had a history of being involved with prostitution for several years.
Another TSA related headline focuses on 34-year-old former TSA screener Andrew Cheever of Boston, who was sentenced this week to nearly three and a half years in prison for possessing child pornography.
The former Logan airport screener was found to have thousands of child pornography images and videos stored on his home computer. He was also found to have shared the material online using peer-to-peer software.
And then there is the case of two TSA officers gone wild, who got drunk, trashed a South Beach hotel room Tuesday, then picked up a semi-automatic handgun and fired six rounds out the window.
The Miami Herald reports that Jeffrey Piccolella, 27, and Nicholas Anthony Puccio, 25, were arrested and charged with criminal mischief and use of a firearm while under the influence.
The police report stated that the bullets fired penetrated windows and walls of nearby buildings. Thankfully no one was injured.
As we have consistently highlighted, the regularity with which these kind of incidents occur with TSA workers makes it look like committing felonies is a prerequisite to get a job in airport security.
We’ve documented numerous examples where TSA agents have been caught committing crimes both on and off the job, from molesting children, to stealing, to kidnapping, to assault, to drug smuggling. The list of cases is growing to biblical proportions and gets larger with each passing day.
Efforts to curb TSA powers, eliminate the use of wasteful, useless, and potentially harmful body scanners, make TSA grope downs a felony are not just about protecting our privacy, they’re also now about protecting us from a sub-human criminal underclass that has been given carte blanche by big government to unleash their predatory sexual and criminal fetishes on the traveling American public.

Beatings, sexual abuse, electric shock: US torture camps ‘still operative
A new report reveals that US forces continue to send detainees to prisons where torture is practiced, despite NATO’s promise to suspend prison transfers last September.
The report carried out by the Afghan Independent Rights Commission and the Open Society Foundation documents numerous cases of torture in Afghan detention facilities between February 2011 and January 2012.
The document has credible evidence in 11 recent cases where practices such as “beatings, suspension from the ceiling, electric shocks, threatened or actual sexual abuse, and other forms of mental and physical abuse” were commonplace. Researchers also discovered widespread violations of prisoners’ rights were in evidence, “including the right to counsel and family notification.”
According to the study, these techniques are “routinely used to obtain confessions or other information.”
Abuses were found to be committed both in Afghan National Police facilities (ANP) and the National Directorate of Security facilities (NDS).
Moreover, the document presents evidence that even after NATO announced it would suspend prison transfers in September, “some US forces or personnel continue to transfer individuals to NDS Kandahar.” The risk of torture for the detainees upon arrival was “widely acknowledged.” In spite of this fact, “CIA or other US intelligence officials” may be sending prisoners to banned facilities.
The report states that although the Afghan government has maintained its commitment to stamping out torture in its prisons, it has done very little to address the issue.
“In some cases, instead of dismissing and prosecuting responsible officials, the Afghan government has simply reassigned officials to other detention facilities.”
The US military presence in Afghanistan has been the source of much contention, with reports of abuses of power and violence rife in the last couple of months.
The most recent being the massacre of 16 civilians at the hands of a US soldier, which saw the flimsy US-Afghan alliance put under increasing pressure. In response to the tragedy, Afghan President Hamid Karzai ordered US soldiers to be withdrawn from villages and confined to military bases.
The US mounted the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001 with a view to oust the Taliban from power. American troops stationed in the country are currently in the process of transferring security responsibility to Afghan authorities. The US government has pledged a complete withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan for 2014.
